REQUIREMENTS: The client had outgrown their facility in the area and was in need of a new home within close proximity. Premier Development had the property and the experience to design and construct their new corporate headquarters.
OBJECTIVES / CHALLENGES:
- Premier had a 193,000 square foot spec building underway in Glenwillow.
- The client and Premier had the vision to create a world class headquarters into a facility that would also house distribution.
- Premier changed the exterior design mid-stream to create an awe-inspiring entryway.
RESULTS:
Premier was able to quickly and efficiently change design of their spec building to encompass the new vision by transforming the single story structure into a 50,000 square foot two-story office design. The exterior intent of brick and precast with punch-out window openings needed to incorporate curtain wall and extensive glass lines.
Premier was also able to create this building with room for future growth and successfully altered a building that was 100% designed and 50% constructed into a dynamic work environment with minimal cost.
